I just want to tell you that I feel so sorry for Xiang Lang! She was a witch, but she wasn't a real evil witch, she was just a rejected, broken hearted lonely soul who had no family, friends, home and place in the world, when she was never accepted as she was because she was different. His sacrifice broke my heart as well because she didn't deserve to die, despite what he did, which he only did because she was loyal to the evil that found him and wanted to profit from him. She chose a noble path and maybe he died a hero because he saved Mulan's life but his dying in Mulan's arms was so heartbreaking and sad. I would do anything if I could just get into the universe of the Mulan movie and find a magical way to raise the dead and use it on Xiang Lang and help him start a new and good life. I hope Mulan honored him and buried him somewhere nice and beautiful where she wouldn't feel rejected and abandoned or alone even though no one, not even others like him, are alone and I hope so much that she found peace because she was, so brave, about a powerful and beautiful woman, so sad for her!!

This hits hard. I know it's been two years since this video was made but damn, it still hits hard. Villanelle's pain is relatable, because even though I'm not trapped in a lifestyle like hers, I know firsthand how painful loneliness can feel. When Konstantin betrayed her in season 2 and she said "You choose your family over me?" and he told her "It's what families are for, it's what they do." and she replied "I wouldn't know all of that" - it was so relatable. People were constantly trying to take advantage of her throughout the show, Dasha, Konstantin, Carolyn, they all wanted to take advantage of the fact that she was broken, confused and lost. In season 4 when V and Carolyn were talking about V's childhood, Carolyn probably noticed that Villanelle was confused and took advantage of that by telling her she's "gifted from birth", just so she could use V for her purposes, mostly to get the 12 killed. People never actually listened to her with the intention to care or understand, because it wasn't beneficial or convenient for them to do that. Nobody took her feelings seriously because they wanted to believe that she just wasn’t feeling anything, so they could use her for their own gain or so they could make her seem like the villain while all along - they were the real villains. She was feeling everything and there was nobody there for her. The overwhelment was so real for her and she had nobody to help her process through everything that was going on inside of her. When she was sitting with Eve in season 3 and talking about how her life would've turned out to be if she never became a killer and every time she pointed out how other people seemed happy, it broke my heart because I could see her longing for the loneliness to end, for the pain to stop, she wanted to break free from the life she was trapped in and she wanted to know what it's like to have a family that really loves you and would never do anything on purpose to hurt you, a family that would never betray you or use you for their selfish intentions and dump you as soon as you're no longer usable or enjoyable. There are billions of people in this goddamn world and yet there are still people who just like Villanelle feel all alone. This hits hard in so many ways. It hits home in so many ways.

I miss her so much ... That was the first tv show I've watched and when I saw Villanelle I fell in love with her instantly, not in a romantic way but I felt some kind of connection and no, I didn't murder anyone, I don't think about it and I'll never ever do it, never. It's just that I felt so happy seeing two women playing the main characters of a show that doesn't fetishize them, they had a great story although the heartbreaking end, I'll never forget that two. I'll always love Eve and Villanelle and I really need more tv shows with strong, fearless women, it's so fascinating! Sorry for the monologue;)
